She is far from the feint aesthetic beauty, she has a sunburnt natural skin color, she is a colored-eyed swarthy women. Of course, it is not just beauty that makes her so attractive. It’s because the look, the mood and the image … Rihanna is an icon in her own right, she is obviously far from universal consent, stereotyped beauty curiosity. She is very brave to change her hair color and body sizes. She prefers sexy and cool clothes. Even, when she’s fleshy, she is still very attractive and eye-catching. It is absolutely self-confidence and courage that makes her so different and adorable.
And What About her life?
Who is Rihanna?
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in a parish in Barbados called St. Michael, to Monica (Braithwaite), an accountant, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor. Her mother is Afro-Guyanese and her father is of Afro-Barbadian and British Isles ancestry (known as “Redlegs” in the Caribbean).
Rihanna lived the life of a normal island girl going to Combermere, a top sixth form school. Rihanna won numerous beauty pageants and performed Mariah Carey’s single “Hero” in a school talent show. Her life changed forever when one of her friends introduced her to Evan Rodgers, a producer from New York who was in Barbados for a vacation with his wife, who is a native. Rodgers arranged for her to go to New York to meet Jay Z, CEO of Def Jam Records. He heard her sing and knew she was going to be incredibly successful. She was age 16 when she was signed to Def Jam. Since then, she’s amassed phenomenal success.
Rihanna does things her own way. From the pop-R&B singles of her 2005 debut album, Music of the Sun, to the give-no-fucks anthems of 2016’s Anti, she’s an artist who defies expectations. In her career, she’s built meticulous control over her voice and image: After rising to fame as a Roc-a-Fella signee, she used her third album, 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad, to flip the staid dancehall-meets-pop sound of her first LPs and introduce the world to a sexier, darker sound. It immediately paid off in her sultry, hip-hop-infused global hit “Umbrella” with mentor JAY-Z. And with each new record she’s released, the Barbadian star has grown more assertive, assured, and undeniable.
The first-ever global beauty launch in history, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna premiered simultaneously online and in 1,620 stores in more than 17 countries. Rihanna leads the charge with her fearless reinvention, bringing to life a unique vision for beauty that is feminine and edgy, individual and inclusive, and always keeps makeup-wearers around the globe guessing. From packaging design to formula and shade development, she is intimately involved in every aspect of the brand’s creation, and always will be.
Rihanna created Fenty Beauty “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, developing formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades. Her vision, above all, is to inspire: “Makeup is there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different.”
Rihanna’s style is one that we could only dream of emulating. The girl can make anything look good.

A celebrity like Rihanna has to showcase her style in five radically different settings: the stage, the street, the red carpet, fashion week, and social media. Rihanna’s special skill is her ability to shine equally, and with consistency, across all five.
The street is her runway, and the runway her street. Her influence is calculable: she was selling out “ugly” Fenty x Puma sneakers long before the trend had a name, and continues to boost the brand’s sales year over year.
One could argue that Rihanna is just a paper doll for the many stylists and design teams working for her. She does, in fact, have a team of people helping her pull outfits and sift through the many obscure pieces she is no doubt sent daily. But the people she surrounds herself with are a measure of her taste. These stylists are there to help amplify Rihanna; she did the groundwork.
